I wasn't sure about this book but so many things kept drawing me in, little references that I really loved. It's a nice short read and I'm really excited to get started on the next book to find out what happens.

Reverse harem with sooo many tropes, I'm loving it, they all have something different and I can't wait to see how they end up!

This book needs an editor badly. There are alot of scenes that lack detail making it difficult to follow what is happening especially with the exorbitant number of grammatical errors and typos.

I usually like anything that A. K. Koonce writes but this one wasn’t up to what I feel like is par. It moved too fast in some places and too slow in others. You still didn’t find out what she was at the end. It was a weird combo. The writing was good but the plot line was off.

It sounded like it would have a story and relationships. Instead it's dull, rushed erotica with painful dialogue where most characters act the same. The guys aren't friendly and are cheesily stereotypical. The book would have been better sticking to one point of view. It was awkward when it kept switching around. Storywise? Just angering frustrations, unfairness, trapped, and angst.

It wasn't as bad as I feared! It lacked world building, the characters were rather one dimensional and it was a bit ridiculous but I'm planning to read the next book to see what happens next.

Summary: Izara can't remember dismembering her boyfriend and she's caught and taken to a supernatural creature reform school that's supposed to teach her how to control herself. Apparently the school can't care enough to have separate rooms for males and females so she ends up in a room with 3 other guys. The building of a harem ensues.

A very strong start to this series. Characters are beginning to take shape and the storyline is starting to progress. I’m starting to get to understand the MC a little mire - there is still A LOT of unanswered questions though and a bit too much vagueness. I felt the writing could be a lot stronger if certain aspects were fledged out before more dramas were introduced.

Meh. Really just meh. It’s honestly like every other RH paranormal school book. She doesn’t know what she is. Everyone thinks she’s ordinary, but we all know she’s not...she’s really super special (*insert eye roll here*). But no one knows what she is...she doesn’t even know...dun dun dun. Ugh. I totally skimmed this crap pile to figure out what her deal is. Of course you don’t find out and the one person who manages to see her is conveniently sent somewhere. I’ll probably skim the next one just to try and figure it out. I just wish these books weren’t all the same.

A pretty solid series soooo 4 stars. I like the heroine and her tribe a lot. But I felt like I didn’t get SUPER attached to the male characters. Also the end of the story felt a little rushed so thats why i bumped it to 4 stars.
