It was a perfect novella, but it gets 4 stars because It broke my heart to read this story knowing Adena dies. The last few chapters broke me knowing her death was coming close. I hope Makoto will be okay and that he gets to meet Paedyn in Reckless or Fearless.

Iβd put this book about on par with Powerless. The writing style is just as clunky for me and I think it would be better written in third person, but the story is good and keeps me coming back for more. Suffice to say, I will be continuing with the series, but Iβd warn anyone getting into it to taper their expectations.

LAUREN ROBERTS. HOW. DARE. YOU. That was probably the saddest fucking book Iβve ever read. I knew Adena was going to die because of powerless but nahh. HER POOR FINGERS. THE STARS. THE GIFT MAK NEVER GOT TO GIVE HER. Amazing but omfg. Iβve heard that Mak isnβt in reckless due to u writing reckless before powerful but he better appear in fearless. Good job.
this was cute. it was even shorter than it looked because i think it had excerpts from both powerless and reckless so i was like oh it's over...

lowkey did my girl so bogus tho, also wish this wouldn't have been a love story too cause her man was done bogus too likeeee hasn't he lost enough... i only hope like the point of this is that he will maybeeee be in the next books like to avenge her or something that would be pretty sick.
