This book could’ve been a great read but the ending was a big disappointment. Susan‘s husband is cheating with Hannah his ex-girlfriend.
Susan’s Son left for college and she felt like she was abandoned instead of her her husband having a good time she started to cloth and the other hand started on affair with Hannah. This store story is told by the point of view of Hannah and Susan. In the end, good woman got what they deserve.

After reading the book I was not surprised or entertained as I thought that I would be. The book disappointed me. In the beginning the story did grip me about the abusive wife and revenge. Once the story transformed to flashbacks it talked about the FMC being a promiscuous lady of the night on a college campus and after college and all she ever wants is money and a sugar daddy. Then her friend Mark is being smothered by his mother because she worries about him going away to college. There is no suspense, thriller or anything that captures my attention and maintains it for the duration of the book.

This book was okay. It very nearly was a DNF at 25%. Susan was absolutely insufferable as a character and I really struggled to push through.
The book itself was fine beyond that, not super thrilling and I personally hated the ending. I do not enjoy when a book ends that way.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This book was a tough one to review. for the first 2/3 of the book I was along for the ride, following the plot and interested to see what was going to happen next. I was even going along with the story even though I found that none of the characters featured had any likeable or redeemable qualities.

In the last third of the book I felt like the story telling became fragmented and unfortunately some giant leaps were made to wrap up the book quickly as if the author didn't know exactly how to end things. I did finish it but probably wouldn't recommend it for most thriller readers.

I’ve not read a book before by this author and thought I’d give it a try. I didn’t get gripped by the story but was still interested in reading it. There were elements in there that kept my interest and I felt I wanted to find out more. I would have preferred some kind of twists in it to grip me to the book. It was quite a good storyline but not enough fast pace for me.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book.
