I thought this book was going to be more fun than it was. It was a nice read, but also kind of sad? Constantly exchanging husbands. I feel like we didn't really get to know the characters enough. Anyway, cute ending though.

More like 3.5 but 4 stars because I related to it.

The premise is amazing and something I wish I had in real life. The writing was easy to read and get through. I could relate and understand Lauren’s struggle to finding the right man for her and the mental math she was doing to figure her life out. You see Lauren develop and realise many things about herself.

Also as an East London girlie, the reference to Walthamstow??? What an amazing way to make this relatable

Fun, enthralling, interesting concept. Good commentary on social issues like DV and queerness. Interesting since hypothetically we all have this choice, there are hypothetically endless people we could choose, but we have to make a choice to be able to truly experience true love. Loved the end, very unexpected. Great, unique concept

One of the only stories I've read that I literally had no idea how it would end. I've also never been as stressed reading a... rom-com? magical realism?.. book as I was reading that one chapter– you know which one I mean if you've read it.
