This book is bananas. I’m all in for some mystical realism and Gramazio delivers. By the end, I realized that the story wasn’t really about the husbands, but about Laura and her personal growth. I really liked the ending because I’ve come to realize that okay is good enough.

Imagine coming home after a fun night out to your loving husband fe well that's exactly what happened to Lauren.
Except there's one minor issue - she doesn't have a husband!
It doesn't take Lauren long to realise her attic has turned into some kind of husband producing tardis. We go through the rounds, or husbands, all of which were clearly meant for a version of her in another timeline.
It's a fascinating insight into how much your partner can shape your life, your home, hobbies, job, and relationships with friends & family. One time you're rich and hot, another time it's threesomes... who knew your partner could shape you so much?
Lauren's is the archetypal modern woman living in the city - she learns what to prioritise as she works through the husbands, though not without a few hiccups and twists alon the way to keep us guessing!
I did wonder a few times what would I do? Who would I choose? I found this unique and enjoyable.
