I am bursting with everything good. I so so wanted Lucas to have his own fluke. Sighs deeply and happily.

Lovely continuation of this series... now... if only Walter could get his fluke too...

It was nice. I'm glad Lucas got to fall in love as I was rooting for him in previous books, but I'm not really swayed strongly by the story. It felt mellow. Which is nice, but didn't get me super invested

Aurora Rose Reynolds is always a 1-click author and I have always enjoyed her books. Drawn into Love, book 4 in the Fluke My Life series, is no different. I loved this book. Courtney Williams is ready for a new start after her divorce. She moves to New York City, starts a new job and just purchased a new home where a lot of renovations were needed. This is how she meets Lucas Fremont, he is the architect that would be working on her home. Lucas is a single dad of the cutest little girl, Maddi. When they both meet, there is an immediate attraction between the two, but Courtney is still very wary of starting another relationship after what happened with her marriage. But the more time they spend with each other and Courtney and Maddi meeting, the connection just feels just right.

I really loved everything about this book. My heart broke for Courtney, her history is filled with so much more sadness than just her failed marriage. Lucas’ ex was also a piece a work and just a horrible mother to Maddi. So for the three of them to find each other and create this new family made my heart very happy.

Another excellent book by one of my favorite authors.

My kind of book.

Includes a wonderful kid whose mom doesn't give a s#hit about her and a dad who would do everything for her, even try to make it work with the a/m mom even though she treats her daughter like she is an inconvenience. Don't know what was wrong with him for all those years he stayed with the mom cause she apparently wasn't a good mom and I thought he would do anything for his girl? But hey...

Besides that, I loved the MCs. Their relationship wasn't really a slow burn one and yet, it still is a bit different to the ones in the Until series as there is a bit more time that passes before they officially move in together etc. And I found that quite refreshing

Writing style?
Gorgeous as always. It just flows and I know some of you don't like it because a lot of actions are described and so on but somehow I need that...

Plot?
Nothing entirely new.
Ow and om problems (ex wife and ex husband + mother-in-law)
Kid is involved
Job romance kinda? Cause she hires him to make her house livable.
No dangerous situations or focus on crime and murder in this series

Recommend 11/10

3.5 stars.

This was a nice story, a good second chance at love story.
I loved the characters, in particular Maddi and Lucas. I did feel as if there wasn't too much to Courtney.
The major problem I had with this book though was the writing. I felt the story was rushed and flew at a million miles an hour. There were quite often info dumps, it just didn't feel very polished to me.
Despite this, as I said, I enjoyed the story, in spite of the writing style. It's a light, quick read, so give it a go.

This book wasn't one of my favorites by this author. Too much ex-drama and virtually NO sex. I found myself bored by this couple. Maddie was cute though...
