I've had this book for quite some time but didn't get around to reading it until just this past week. I alternated between the audible and kindle version and the audible version just rocked my socks! Dearest Emma - I don't know who selected the narrator for this book however, he was absolutely perfect. Perfect. I loved Dee. I loved Matthew. I loved all of the laugh out loud moments that I had as their story unfolded.

I enjoyed Matthew and Dee's story. Matthew may be best friends with the almost always offensive Drew, but he's definitely his own man...just not quite as much d-bag as Drew.

I really like Emma Chase's writing and sense of humor. Although I got a little turned off by the character's point of view on abortion, this was still a fun read.

Still funny, but not as funny as Tangled. The events that happened here are simultaneous with what's happening with Drew and Kate, and it's fun to know this side of the story.

Loved reading Matthew and Dee's story... Not quite as much as Drew and Kate, but still a great read!

What an amazing book!

I loved how Emma Chase gives us the story about Matthew & Dee. IF you have read Tangled & Twisted, you will understand who these characters are. If you haven't read those books yet, what the heck are you waiting for?? Go get them and read them ASAP!

This is a story told in the male POV of Matthew Fisher, a hot, sexy and cocky guy who totally had me cracking up with his sarcastic humor. HE is BFF with Drew from Tangled.

Delores (Dee) Warren is a rocket scientist who is a spunky, fun loving, does what she wants kind of girl who totally gets Matthew's attention at 1st sight.

I liked how we get to know how Matthew and Dee fall in love with each other.

As always, Emma Chase has you laughing from page1 till the last page. I enjoyed this read sooo much.

It was hot, hot & more hot!
Yep totally had my knickers in a bunch reading Matthew & Dee's hot relationship. Yozzers. So many hot scenes, I can't choose just one. Ok, maybe I can, I will say the Darkroom was a nice surprise & Matthew felt that way too!

Matthew totally shocked me with his actions on handling Dee and her problems with trusting him. I totally fell for Matthew hard. Dee & him both have issues with falling in love & they begin to learn how to deal with the feelings they can't hold back towards one another.

We know how Matthew & Dee end up from the previous books but I truly enjoyed reading how it all came together and in Matthew's POV.

This was a entertaining, fun & hot story.

I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

ARC provided by publisher in exchange for an honest review

"My life changed about four weeks ago. On a normal, average day-when i met a girl who was anything but average."

So, I'm not sure exactly how to review this book. It's not bad but it's not my favorite. Maybe my expectations were high for Dee and Matthew? Maybe I'm still bitter about Drew's bullshit from Twisted and it carried over? While Matthew is no Drew (Tangled-era Drew, not Twisted-era Drew) he can certainly hold his own when it comes to the sexy...

"By the end of this night, I'll have you calling me 'God'."

as well as the funny...

"Delores is a gorgeous name, for a gorgeous girl. Plus, it rhymes with clitoris...and I really know my way around them. Big fan."

there was nothing that really kept me invested in this story, especially knowing that Dee and Matthew get their HEA. I honestly don't know what my expectations were that left me feeling so meh about it.

I wonder if had I read Tamed before Holy Frigging Matrimony I would be singing the same tune. All I know is that while I liked this book, I didn't love it and each addition to this series has me questioning if I want to continue. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the writing and the characters, but part of me is slightly wishing I would had stopped after Tangled because it was good enough to stand on its' own. As much as I enjoyed parts of this story (the chemistry between Dee and Matthew, as well as appearances from The Bitch and Mackenzie that had me laughing) I really don't know if I needed to know how Dee and Matthew first got together.

So honestly while I liked this story, it wasn't enough for me. If you are a huge fan of this series then I suggest you check it out because it isn't bad. But if you're more off the fence then on about reading it? I would probably tell you to pass.
