Mainly disappointing because it felt like it could’ve gone in such a thrilling, bananas direction but It really just fizzled. Even the twist was not surprising
I will admit that at first, I thought the book was not that good, and that the syntax of the book was blurry ( If that makes sense), but towards the end, it all came together. I personally rated it only 3/5 stars because I don't like the plot. I don't want to give away much, but the way certain parts of the book is written confuses me, or just doesn't align with the rest of the story. Some details I did like from this was the way things are described, how during the book the main character experiences emotions that are not normally portrayed in books, and there was a beautiful way of telling such a grotesque story.
A chilling story; one about rage, a town mystery, and a death that happened years ago in a poisoned household.
"Three little girls all eating things they weren't supposed to eat. Three little girls all eating things in order to fill their bodies with something other than the anger, the rage, that would otherwise consume them."
Well I guess that explains why our main character eats books
