Writing style was choppy, but I did get caught up in the mystery.

OK. But not a page turner for me. I've read it before and it was not memorable. I like Jonathan Kellerman and will read on, but this one was a flop...to me.

Another quick read, moderately enjoyable. The tension between Sturgis and Delaware seemed a bit too contrived to happen so quickly. The final resolution of the case seemed a bit too far-fetched for my tastes.

Nothing special.

Catching up - Love JK

I liked the general premise of the book, and the characters of Milo and Alex, but I felt like the real mystery of this book wrapped up a little too cleanly and then Kellerman kept pushing this messy family drama on us that I didn't much care about. I'd be interested in checking out some of the earlier books in this series, but this one wasn't great.
