Strong beginning, slow in the middle, but a really sweet and positive ending with a strong moral message. I am not the target age demographic (too old, lol) but I still was able to enjoy this story and writing.

slow-paced

It isn’t a bad book, but it is painfully slow and it singlehandedly got me into the longest reading slump lol… I finally skimmed through the second half just to know what happens and honestly the story wasn’t very engaging to me. Writing was very good as always tho!
