Keep and open mind and know that this book is not what you expect it will be
I love Norm Macdonald, I really do. But wow, this was a weird book. I didn't really know what to expect, and after reading it all, I think it would have been better (for me) as an audiobook so I could hear the deadpan delivery from Norm himself. But, my favourite joke ever (the moth joke) was in this book, and that made me really happy.
The audiobook read by Norm is a comfort blanket that I never get tired of listening to.
This book is funny at times, but overall it's just mildly interesting. I love Norm Macdonald and wanted to glean the last drops from what information is available about his lifes story and I feel like this book really doesn't do that at all. I mean it's all in the title, this is a mildly interesting fiction book with some loose basis of facts.
