There's not much to say but that the first 30% of the story was good and beautiful even.
But all went downhill in Part 2 with the unnecessary separation of eight years in which the H was sleeping around -ugh nothing is worse than this- and turns out he still could've reached out to the h but instead he chose to fuck around because it doesn't mean anything right? As long as he is thinking and picturing the h every time (eww).
And god forbid the heroines of this type of trope will ever have a meaningful relationship during the separation , no! She will either have to be celibate or just be in a shallow one-night-stands types.
How can his "it'll only ever be you" turns into banging half the female population on earth is beyond me

I love the phase of the book and you’ll want to know how they both will find their way back together. Ryder becomes a successful rockstar and Zeta a journalist, how wheels of fate turned and they met again. Honestly I feel hurt and dislike the way Ryder becomes because of his lifestyle being a rockstar, also the way he treats Zeta, I wanna punch him so bad Lol, He is hot and cold towards her but it made me more immersed to the story. There are secrets revealed and people who hinder them being together that adds to the suspense and heartache. Overall, the author delivered something raw, emotional and angst filled book.

This is quite the story! It ripped me up and then put me back together. What I loved the best was the way these characters were written..or spoken. I really believed in these two and felt all their emotions (happy and sad). Many times I was irritated at one or the other for their actions or words but that always went away and I was thrilled with them again.
I listened to this on audio. The narrations is superbly done. Its a duet with really kept me glued to my earbuds.
Angsty, second chance romances, you say? Written by one of your favourite authors? With stunning characters, plot and atmosphere that kicks you in the feels and barely lets you up for air? Then this is the book for you. The journey Zeta and Ryder go on is intense. But if you know this author, then you know to trust the process and feel the emotions because once again, they've proven that they are worth it. I felt all the emotions reading this and I don't regret a single one. I laughed, I cried, I got a little mad...but it was all for that ending. I volunteered to read and review a complimentary copy of this. All opinions are my own.
This book! It's emotional. It's angsty. Just when you think Siobhan Davis couldn't write a story that would top her previous one. She proves you wrong. Ryder and Zeta's story is beautifully heartbreaking, heartwrenching, angsty and emotional. There's no way you wouldn't feel anything for these two and get your heart in one piece through it. It was a journey with all the feels in it! It was such a great romance that will leave you breathless.
