When you look up the word delusional, Xander Brown is the first thing that would come up. Insta-love? No. More like insta-crazy. This story didn’t do it for me. The dots just didn’t connect for me. But there were definitely some funny moments. Never found out why her mom killed her dad. Zara’s mom and Zander never talked it out. The whole masquerade thing wasn’t mentioned again.

I’m trying to figure out what sound “Mmcht” is. A few misspelled words. I didn’t like the writing. It felt like a lot of extra words were added to fill the story out. Like instead of saying, “I grabbed the keys” it would say, “ The keys were grabbed from where he said they would be...” I thought it was weird to compare a child using the bathroom to a woman being wet.

First, let me say that baby that man Xander had me kicking my feet and giggling like a school girl. Xander was willing to wear that dang Zara down. That man did not care about nothing she was talking about. He was determined to have her and be with her no matter what. Now on the topic of Zara there were times in which she was wrecking my nerves but not to the point where I disliked her. I do feel like there were gaps in the story and some things that could have been touched on but in the end it doesn't affect anything with Zara and Xander. Overall I loved the book it included an unhinged man, spice, love, family, and more.
