The first Witch book! It's quite good, better than some of the rest of the series. I really liked the characters, and it's great to meet Granny Weatherwax. This does feel like a prototype of the Tiffany Aching books.

Really enjoyed the change in focus and getting to learn more about different characters on the Disc rather than Rincewind and co. Loved having a girl protagonist with a strong focus on gender - felt the end was a bit abrupt but I found The Light Fantastic left me wanting more as well. Overall 4.5 stars!

A bit of a slower book compared to the first 2 books. Enjoyed the different characters and excellent expansion on the worldbuilding.

Currently rereading the Discworld novels. I would say this, the third, is where things really start to take shape.
