Probably the highest quality book I've ever read, the writing was lyrical, misleading, and mysterious, the characters were well developed and interesting, and the world was absolutely fabulous.

I really wanted to love this book as much as everyone else, however I’ve read Piranesi earlier this year and I couldn’t stop comparing the similarities between them.
I loved the stories and the world building but the book was too long I struggled to finish it and I pushed through it only because I had the audiobook.

Such a beautifully written book with such intriguing, magical fairytales. The last 150 pages were however agony to get through. Idk if it was convoluted or I’m just stupid, maybe a bit of both.
