summary in a paragraph:
The story follows two women: Ava Harrison who gets a mysterious letter about a new life in another state, and Maggie Brightwell who own a coffeeshop in a small town while dealing with worry for her father. They are brought together under unusual means but grow and learn from each other and the small community around them.
Memorable quotes/excerpts:
"Let it ride"
Author intention:
I think the author wanted to write a story about grief and change. I think the story is also about finding yourself, found family, acceptance. The main theme really follows coming into a new part of your life and learning how to deal with the change and gain and offer support for those around you
Target audience: I think anyone who likes cozy books, mystery, romance, realistic fiction, magical realism or slice of Life would like this book
Review/thoughts(why did/didn't you like, what could improve): I like this book. It was slow, and I don't usually read slow books but the pacing wasn't bad. There were twists at the end that I w wasn't expecting at all but they do make the overall story a little more interesting. There's a lot of names to follow in the beginning where you can kind of use them because each character does have unique traits that even if you forget who is who you remember what they are or what they do. I wish I could have some more interaction with Noah but overall it was a pretty good book and I would definitely recommend it to others

I'm not going to finish this one because one of the characters has health issues that are triggering my anxiety. I would probably finish it otherwise 🫤

When I tell you the ending of this book made me weep myself sick, please ignore my long history of exaggeration because. Reader. I wept.
