It's been awhile since I started and finished a book in a day and boy does it feel good! This series is so much fun. It is a simple series that fits me so well. It has the right amount of action and romance built into the plot to keep me interested and I can fall in love with the characters without having to worry about them too much. I love that even though some parts are a tad predictable, their are enough little twists and turns to keep me guessing.

I think my local library only has this and the first book in the series, so I'm going to have to start saving up, so I can buy the remainder of the series, which I know is pretty lengthy. Unlike some other series, I know this is one I can re-read because it's not to heavy or depressing. I'm so glad I gave these a chance, they may not be for everyone but I definitely recommend.

I lied. I decided to read the next book in the series despite saying I wouldn't.

Shocker- this one was better than the first one! That NEVER happens :)

I think it was because I liked Hank (noble guy that isn't a player), I liked Ivy as a character and I LOVED his disrespectful receptionist (his auntie).
I enjoyed the happy ending, loved the alpha male and even thought it was WAY too insta-love especially calling Charlie his son and how he "loves" him immediately, I will give it a pass because its fiction.
I may or may not continue this series (since I have to pay for it)- its not KU.

I really enjoyed this pairing, but I feel the ending regarding Ivy's dad's influence was wrapped up too nicely.
Spoiler Plus we're never seen the consequences of the guys who tried to ya know kill her

I love the world and the characters, Hank was so understanding stoic and dreamworthy I loved him.....

As for the story I did feel it dragged a little after the ceremony, but still loved it... Solid 4 stars.

The Werewolf Meets His Match is book two in the Nocturne Falls series by Kristen Painter.

This story was entertaining, fun, and easy to read. I enjoy the concept of a town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year and supernaturals can be who they are.

Here we meet Hank Merrow the town Sheriff, werewolf, and first born son of the Alpha. We also meet Ivy Kincaid the bad girl, werewolf, and wants out of her situation, but only has one option and that’s to do what her father says. I’m not a fan of Ivy, but I can understand her not trusting easily. I felt she should have told Hank, but I can see why she held back. Hank I loved. He’s a sweet man, Army Ranger, and Sheriff of the town, so he’s a hero and has a good head on his shoulder.

This is an instalove storyline. An arranged marriage to formalize the treaty between packs, but their are other things in play too. Hank and Ivy have three days to get to know each other; before they tie the knot. This was a fast romance, very fast. It’s got pack politics and a town full of fun supernaturals.

Overall, The Werewolf Meets His Match was an ok read. I enjoyed.
