Read this to my 7-year old, who thoroughly enjoyed it, and I must say, I did too. It's aimed at kids, and the language and graphics are too, so don't jump on board if you want something dark and brooding. In saying that, it doesn't quite pull its punches either - characters are killed and Ragnarok ensues - so it's not light and fluffy either. A good starter for kids who want to get into mythology.
