What a snooze fest. I was first troubled when I realized this was the 12th book in some sort of series. I decided to give it a try before deciding on if I'd purchase the first books and catch up. As you can imagine, I didn't feel "included" in the book but tried to struggle through. Found it to just be...boring? I cannot think of another word, unfortunately.

I generally like Poisoned Pen Press authors, but this one was not for me.
