Very thorough treatment - seems to wander from the core point at times, but it all makes sense in the end. Very well written.

I was excited to read this book after all the recent foolishness from the Supreme Court (Trump's absolute immunity and federal agency authority). I expected more from this book, but it's just a, sometimes too, detailed retelling of everything that happened in the Trump eras. Way to feed more to the media circus around that clown!

It really drags on in a way that doesn't provide necessarily more insight than what you could get reading the news or Wikipedia. It does go into a bit abt the Federalist society and its close tied with the Trump era Republican party but still. The book did not feel compelling or insightful enough to continue

Informative and bleak. An important read - even if you don’t follow US politics closely - because it explains the impact that Trump had on the US and how he did it through the judicial system. Reading this was tough because it was a bit textbookish but I do feel that I learned a lot (even if I didn’t absorb all the information).

{Yes - I read this for a guy…}
