This is a book where abused kids as adults are expected to forgive their abusers and abusers are offered sympathy because they are old and scared of not going to heaven. That’s not something that I go for and I quite enjoyed the book until the 3rd act break up. Apparently people cannot truly love unless they forgive their abuser.

It’s a message some people like, but I do not.

I was really surprised by how much I liked this book. I only started to read it yesterday and I just couldn't put it down. It was addictive, passionate, sweet, funny and just perfect.

I love historical fiction!

Where can I find my own Wicked Duke? I love, love, love Fallon. She's such a great character! Strong-willed, passionate, witty and more powerful than she lets on. I think she's fantastic and a brilliant heroine!

And who could ask for a better hero? He's dark, brooding, hot as hell and has a sweet and sensitive side to him that is a pleasure to discover!

I cannot recommend this story enough, this book is very well written and I can't wait to read the next one!!

So, first off, this was gym reading. I got it free or super cheap for my Kindle.

The first half of this book was fine. I was into the story and the writing was good. But, about half way through, I wanted to throw my Kindle across the gym.

Okay, no means no. I don't give a fuck if the girl's obviously wants you, but if she says no, she means no. And I have no other fucks to give about him not actually penetrating her with his penis (at least the first time), no still means no. I read through about 87% of this and not ONE of the sex acts was consensual. NOT ONE.

Blech. No thank you.

This book didn’t pull me in quite as much as her other books. Still a fun read.

One day I’ll finish it

I finished it. 3.5 stars. I loved Fallon as a heroine. And Dominic Was a dynamic character. Still, I didn’t really like him as a person, even with the kind stuff he did. I also wish they spent more time getting to know each other. It was such an abrupt flip from an antagonistic relationship, to them “in love.”

I have to admit though, when Dominic was in him flirting bag, it was cute or whatever
