I was just having a hard time get into this. The language and setting and voices in the audiobook made it really difficult. I just didn't get into it even at 10% through the book.

Maybe my issue was with the audiobook narrator, but my attention faltered constantly while trying to finish this book. Towards the end it became interesting.

This was really cute! I really liked the hero and the heroine, and I thought their connection was very meaningful. I love how the FMC completely melted the MMC’s gruff exterior, and only put up with her sunshiney personality. I also loved the scene where the MMC’s cat who hates everyone snuggled right up to the FMC, that was one of my favorite scenes in here.

In terms of plot, this book also had a lot of side plots, some I cared about, and some I didn’t which I think was one of my “issues” with the book. I also hated the audiobook narrator for this. The way this narrator kept pronouncing schedule as SHED-ULE made me so mad. The British accent made this so hard to play on 2x speed
