Getting closer to the end of the series, action is picking up! While this is a standalone it is best to be read in the series because you you'll understand the extra characters that are actively in this story. Instant attraction, low steam. PG16 rating (if there was one). The confirming of their mating was their kiss and third base. With this being said there's a lot of action and it definitely sets up for the last book.

Deja (h), part of a dating exchange program, crashes in a building in a remote part of the planet she was headed for and is almost immediately captured by the hostile locals who are intent on making her pay for the damage her escape pod caused. Devoq (H), a Jaszova warrior, and his brothers crashed on the same planet and they're on a mission to rescue the crashed human women. At first Deja's not sure that the green alien with his face tentacles, four eyes, and arm wings is a better option than her captors, but as she gets to know him she quickly changes her mind about him. Lots of action as Devoq and Deja try to elude her captors and other aliens. Devoq will do anything for Deja, even if it leads to heart loss. Love the shared adventure with Capsi and Cassie. While this is the fourth book in the series, there is enough of the backstory at the beginning to get the basic background, though I would highly recommend reading the entire series in order to have a better understanding of things.

Short, sweet palate cleanser. Needed more spice.

This is the 4th installment in the series. Deja is captured by an angry restaurateur who serves her up, literally, to a warlord. Devic arrives in time to save her, but they get caught up between two warring groups. A couple from an earlier book make an appearance. Mild spice, fun adventure. Ends on a cliffhanger.
