The time has come to celebrate the summer birthdays and one of the Roanokes own--Jo--is one of the lucky birthday gals. April, another Roanoke and a lifelong friend of Jo, is all over it. She has been planning Jo's birthday since before the start of camp--like she does every year. April ropes in the other Roanokes, other campers, and even some supernatural friends to make Jo's birthday a success. But things start to go wrong and Jo is resistant to a huge birthday party.

Themes of communication, expectations, and friendship abound in the latest volume of Lumberjanes, but not much of the larger mystery is explored.

One of the better ones from the last few installments. Again, I hate that the artwork gets changed so frequently, it really impacts my enjoyment of the story. But I really liked the plot of this one, even if it doesn't touch on the main plot. It was very sweet and I think really allowed for the characters to all shine in a really fun and sweet story.
