i was nervous going into it because i’d never read any fantasy before & didn’t know what to expect but from the first chapter i was so intrigued and couldn’t stop reading it. at about 65% i decided i needed to make the 50 minute round trip drive to my library to pick up all the rest of the books because i just couldn’t wait for weeks for my holds of them to come in on libby.
i’ve heard people complain about the shift in the plot at about 70% but i really enjoyed it all - both plots. i was wrecked by the ending and i can’t wait to devour ACOMAF (lol all 624 pages of it😅)

2nd read: these are forever my favorite series!!! i read them first in aug/sep 2022 and i went through them so fast that i’m very excited to notice new things this time and enjoy all the best parts. this was a awesome experience and i’m falling in love with the characters all over again 🦇❤️🔥

3rd read (marked as read on goodreads in the graphic audio version. read from june 14-24, 2023): well. this was my 3 time reading this book and it gets better every time. i noticed way more little details and understand the story so much better today than i have before. this series is a ♾️ star series for me. legit my favorite series ever and so listening to this made me so happy. lol i was so giddy in anticipation when i heard Rhysand’s voice for the first time!!! i am SO EXCITED to listen to acomaf next. it is going to be amazing and i don’t think i’m ready😭🥰

4.5 stars for the Calanmai thing being kinda weird to me. I’ve never read this series before and was a little surprised at how graphic the audio was but ended up enjoying it!

This was genuinely really refreshing especially after knowing how audiobooks aren’t my thing but the voice actors, the ambience and the effects made this an experience!
Tamlin voice actor took a bit getting used to but once I adjusted it was perrrfect omg. I’m having sm fun with this.
Feyre’s voice actor was the closest I’ve come across with the realistic expressions and tone. Really did the character justice.
Lucien’s also took some getting used to but it grew on me. I loved how he was so sassy in this book, I miss that.
Rhys… I can’t lie no one’s voice can really match what’s in my head and I stand by that but I can’t wait to see more of him in part two
