i read part 2 as well i just didnt want to mark it on here as 2 separate books.

i wasn't gripped by or invested in the storyline, or the romance. it felt very rushed and very forced like a fanfiction premise. the romance just wasn't believable to me. the last 20% of the book was a bit better as it was action-packed but i'm giving it 2 stars as i'm trusting the next book will be better as people say.

i don't mind cliche books, i love fourth wing despite it being silly- but this one just didn't have an impact for me.

OH MY GOODNESS. I get the hype but only because of this Dramatized Adaptation!!! WHEW.

I still believe this is just a remake of Beauty and the Beast LOL but this audiobook was beautifully done. Excited for part 2!!!

So far ehh...? I expected a bit more from all the hype, but I've heard that this book picks up halfway so I'm hoping for more in the second part. Audio wise it's great though, I like the added layer of the dramatized audiobooks style!

 -A Captivating Introduction to Maas’ World -

This was my first time experiencing anything by Sarah J. Maas, and the Graphic Audio format made it a thrilling introduction to her novels. The full cast, music, and sound effects pulled me into the story and had me hooked. Feyre’s journey was intense and at times emotional as well. The world in which this story takes place felt rich and magical.

I have to admit that some of the scenes were a bit overwhelming with all the extra background noise, and it took me a while to adjust to the style of it. But overall, it was a unique and engaging listen. I’m definitely curious to continue the series and to see what is to come.
