 Book Review:
📖 Freedom Is A Constant Struggle
✒️ by Angela Y. Davis
⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a very good book that I highly recommend for anyone starting to think about the intersectionality of activism. I rated it four stars because some areas of the book were less gripping than others, I assume because this book is primarily comprised of transcribed speeches.

Some quick thoughts related to the book:
🌍 I've learned that there is even more I need to learn about!
🌍 Community and global perspective are the key to lasting activism.
🌍 We need to think bigger than just the issues in front of us.

I want to leave this review with a quote from quite literally the end of the book.

"...we will have to do something quite extraordinary: We will have to go to great lengths. We cannot go on as usual. We cannot pivot the center. We cannot be moderate. We will have to be willing to stand up and say no with our combined spirits, our collective intellects, and our many bodies."

Good book. All just interviews and lectures that took place around 2013-2015. Just ended up being a bit too repetitive due to everything being within one short time frame. Learned a bit but not much. It seems to be more of a bit of hope for the future of activism and lessons on intersectionality and interconnection.
