 This was absolutely adorable.

Aimee has had a crush on Miles Carlisle since she was a kid. But after learning from her brother that Miles used to make fun of her for following them around, she stopped him cold turkey. But it's kind of hard to avoid someone who is:

a. her brother's best friend, and
b. a member of the hottest boy band on the music scene - Seconds to Juliet

When her brother gets an internship to help S2J on the road, he jumps at it, and because of unforeseen circumstances, Aimee is brought along for the ride.

Miles hasn't seen Aimee in a few years. so it's no surprise that he doesn't recognize her when he first sees her. But once he does, it doesn't matter anyway because best friends' little sisters are off limits. Especially to guys like him who aren't looking for relationships after having previously been burned...twice.

Band books are one of my weaknesses. I love them. Throw in the fact that Miles is British and insert swoon here. Old crushes are rekindled, secrets are revealed, and older brothers are out for blood. Drama, music, and romance. If those sound like things you enjoy, then I'm sure you would gobble this up.

I received an e-copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Loved it! Read as part of the box set, but wanted to leave a review on the individual book too!

Aimee's story is connected with the British guy in the band, Miles. The five guys in the band, Seasons to Juliet, or S2J for short, were all chosen on a reality tv show. Miles was friends with Aimee's brother when they were younger. She'd always had a crush on him, and he'd always been nice to her. But once he went away, her brother told her that Miles had never liked her, in fact he'd made fun of her having a crush on him. So when she ends up having to tag along with her brother on tour with the band for two weeks while her parents are out of town and her best friend is sick, so she can't stay with her, she is prepared for being miserable and feeling humiliated. Miles is the "heartthrob" of the band. You know, the British accent does it. Plus he's very flirty. And when he first sees Aimee, not realizing who she is, he is very attracted to her. Then, he finds out who she is, and she doesn't want to talk to him. But when it seems like what her brother told her may not be the truth, and maybe Miles really is interested in her, she can't keep up her anger with him.

This was probably one of my favorites of the collection. I loved the reference to Prince in the beginning. Then, when I was almost done with this one, there was a part that I was almost in tears about! The emotions in this one were high! Of course at the end when the author said that NKOTB was inspiration, I knew I wanted to hang out with her!

My fangirl heart is just bursting. MAKE WAY! MAKE WAY! SECONDS TO JULIET is finally here. Heard about them? The newest and HOTTEST bookish BOYBAND there is! And ladies and gents, Miles Carlisle is on the spotlight. And things are about to get really swoony around here.

Aimee had a huge crush on Miles since forever and though she's still on the middle of Operation: forget-about-Miles propaganda, sparks can't stop flying when they saw each other again. And now sparks won't definitely stop flying now that they're about to spend a lot of time together and Miles just found about Aimee's crush on him.

Obviously, Aimee is the luckiest girl ever. From the first chapter, I instantly liked Aimee. Shes a mixture of sugar and spice. She can be sweet and adorable, but can totally be sassy and sexy too. Basically, she's what most of the girl population is trying to achieve. I always had a love-hate relationship with rockstars. Whether they're from books or real life. They just seems to be always hurting you know? Which can lead to them being overly dramatic and me being annoyed. But on the other hand, they can be really, REALLY sweet. Miles is a perfect characterization of a teenage rockstar. He can be really broody, but he can also be super sweet AND adorable. I swear, he jut killed me. I sighed, I swooned, I laughed, I FELL INLOVE. The characters are superb! Lets hug Ophelia for bringing Miles to our lives.

The romance was completely sweet. There was a lot of grinning, a few tears, a lot of swooning and wishing me and Aimee could just trade places. Best friends turns into lovers are really not that unheard of. But with all the music tours, making Miles british, having an overprotective brother, and the witty and humorous writing.. Ophelia just made this book like a pot of gold. If you would ask me right now what book will I be recommending? A&TH will always be in the tip of my toungue.

So yeah, I love this book. I just want to hug Ophelia, and Aimee, and the S2J boys and Miles. Maybe I'll hug Miles a little bit longer. Maybe I'll ask for a kiss too. Overall, reading this book is just a treat. So sweet I think it gave me cavities, and I'm not even complaining. Cannot wait for the follow up books!

This book was so much fun! It wasn't groundbreaking or incredibly original but it was really fun and quick and made my teenage dreams of falling in love with a hot boy band member very happy! I'd definitely recommend this book if you are/were a fan of boy bands or musicians and love romance. This one is definitely cheesy, but still so much fun! If you hate cheesy romances or would get annoyed by comments like "dafuq" or "#$@&%*!", this might not be the book for you. It doesn't happy often but it is there. I wasn't a huge fan of those things but I had so much fun reading this book and meeting Aimee and Miles that I didn't mind too much. And I'm definitely looking forward to reading more of the Backstage Pass books!

When I first head about this series- the Backstage Pass series from Entangled Publishing’s Crush Crave line, I got very excited. I’m not going to lie- I like me some boy bands, and having an entire book series dedicated to them makes me a very happy reader. This was the first book released in the series (each one written by a different author) and man, does it set the bar high! Ophelia London jumped right into the world of a touring boy band and brought us amazing teen characters who simply come to life on the page.

I loved Aimee. She wants anything but to be stuck on tour with this boy that she crushed on for years and ultimately was humiliated by. She’s tired of being the little sister who tags along and would rather be just about anywhere but ding it again for the summer. But- how can any girl resist the adorable Miles Carlisle? And when it becomes clear that Aimee’s all grown up and the dynamics between them are so, so different than they used to be, things get interesting.

I am entirely too old to be crushing on a seventeen-year-old lead singer in a boy band, but I’m not letting that stop me. There’s more to Miles than brooding good looks and a sexy British accent. (Yeah- a British accent. SWOON.) He’s got a backstory that will break your heart and he’s trying everything he can to be a better man. The touring life is hard, and I loved seeing him fall into something more relaxed when he’s with Aimee. They are absolutely adorable together.

Readers will fall in love with this couple and every swoon-worthy moment between them. The book is fast paced and fraught with conflict that kept me turning pages right up until the adorable final pages.

I’ll definitely be reading the rest of this series as it comes out. There’s even a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Backstagepassbooks?_rdr) for the Backstage Pass series, if you’re interested in catching up on all of the news and bonus content from the authors. Check it out!
