A disturbing book full of psychopaths and writing that was just poor—it’s must be middle-grade level. Want to be well warned about all the future shocking occurrences? Fear not for the author highlights them from the beginning with neon lights. Want to know what the characters are going to do next? There internal dialogue lays it all out for you—when they say they aren’t going to do something, they definitely are going to do it.

I binged this book in 2 days and was eating it UP. And then she randomly becomes a serial killer hitwoman.

Like…come on. You’re gonna end it like THAT? Knocked off a star for that silly epilogue

My co-worker recommended this book to me. While reading the first part of this book, I was extremely bored. Once I hit Nina's part of the book, I was unable to put the book down. This was high-paced thriller, and finished it (almost) in one setting. My two little issues with the book: 1. did not like how Nina slept with Enzo (it felt forced and to me ruined their relationship) ; and 2. did not understand how Andrew was dead for 6 days when Nina left a week ago and Millie spent some time in the attic.

It was a quick read full of unexpected twists. The first half feels like you are reading an average affair story, but bear with the book, then the story unfolds in such a way that you wouldn't expect. The writing style was also quite unique and anyday i would prefer reading writing material for suspense genre than watching a movie based on that.

Engaging, but predictable
