3.5 ⭐️ Creepy page-turner of a thriller sure to get you out of a reading slump!
Liked:
-Short chapters that always ended eerily so I wanted to keep reading
-hooked from the beginning
-overall plot was good (although several GR reviews say it was identical to another popular book but idk which one).
Didn’t like:
-twists felt more like “reveals” that were mostly predictable to a seasoned thriller reader. Too much foreshadowing
- characters lacked depth, basically gaslighted each other constantly
- some details in the book confused me/didn’t like
- I think this same story could’ve been better by changing POV
TLDR; I read this in 2 days so clearly a good story that hooks you from the get-go. There were definitely twists/reveals I didn’t see coming and some predictable ones too. This book will leave you thinking “what the fuck did I just read” and for that alone it’s one I’d recommend!

Holy crap! I couldn’t get away from reading this novel! It kept me on my toes the entire time. The first half had me hating all the characters, honestly, but the second part! It felt like the whole story flipped upside down! I never knew what to expect and I honestly got to say that it felt great when the characters got their vengeance!
