Really enjoyed this book and learning more about the jury process. The story grabs you from page one. Sometimes I felt it was a little far fetched for real life but it kept you on the edge of your seat. I still talk about this book months later.

What a great book! There were so many twists- it kept me ‘page- turning’!! I gave it a lower rating due to the much overused ‘f- word’ . When will authors realize that you don’t have to use insulting language to sell books??

Because I loved his last book, The Last Days of Night, and because this was on sale for $8, I bought and read it.
A totally different genre, an about face from the previous book that took me about 200 pages to get over.
Once I did it was pleasant enough, I suppose I got hooked at the end, but I will forget it tomorrow.
Pick up Last Days of Night.

I finished the book for the sake of finishing it but it was painful to do so. The plot and storyline are actually very interesting. However, the book was prooly executed and the writing style is just.. weak. The amount of "he said" "she said" throughtout the dialog was pushing my buttons. Got to say though, the ending was unexpected and it was an interesting plot. Its way more realistic comparing it to other mysteries, it felt like an actual case that i am keeping up with. I just wish the writing style was better.

I really enjoyed this read. The ending could have been a bit more dramatic.

This was such a page-turner, and I really enjoyed reading it. I liked how it skipped around to different perspectives, and for the most part it did keep me guessing. However, I did figure out the big twist before it was revealed, and the twist itself dinged the book for me a bit because it felt too contrived. Still, this is definitely one of the better suspense novels I've read lately.

Read in one day and stayed up late to finish it! This was a solid, very interesting, plot-always-thickening crime thriller that had such a satisfying ending.
