3.75. Honestly, I was super bored with the relationship, even tho the MMC was so swoon worthy. Once the drama with the wedding started which wasn't until 3/4 of the way thru, it got very good. Proud of the FMC for taking care of herself in a realistic and unselfish way.

Warning, don't read this book if highly prone to righteous anger on a characters behalf or you will want to punch through multiple members of this cast.

This book was such a sweet and pure romance. It's hot and heavy from the get-go, so my smutty girlies will love it.

The male lead is just so lovely, and the female lead is very real and likeable. She's also a curvy woman who loves her body, so it's great fat rep. At least half of the characters are fun and likeable, but half of them made me want to become a pyro. The book is fully of such chaos, but even though it's extreme, it felt plausible.

The romance is so sweet, and they way they back eachother up and take care of eachother is so so lovely.

Audiobook note: if you are an audio listener, take note; the male narrator does this sexy voice that's at least half gravel/vocal fry. it sounds nice, but if you are planning on reading while driving or vacuuming or having any background noise, be prepared to miss half of what he says.

Was it predictable? Somewhat. What I rooting for Janelle and Rome the entire book? Definitely. Did I cheer when Cortez got rocked? ABSOLUTELY. The epilogue was the cutest! I love a HEA.
