Her relationship to her mother and sister is VERY similar to mine. Smh
I took a break from this book for that reason I think.
But once I picked it back up, couldn't put it down!
I wish the Behind/Beyond the Epilogue part was just put in regular sequence in the book.

I rarely find books that I gravitate towards reading again but this has been added to my favorites and my rereads because the way that Janelle just grew and flourished from being someone who didn’t really stand up for herself much to the boss lady that she always was on the inside is just incredible. Rome is hands down one of the best book boyfriends by knowing when to stand up for Janelle but also just being there for her when she needs it with no expectations.
