Loved this book. I wish the movie hadn't cut out all of the good parts and the growth that her sister went through.
It got through the “available” and “popular” filter on the library website. Slow start but have to admit the ending got me a little.
I was excited to finally get a chance to read this book, but unfortunately the story line fell a little flat for me.
I could so relate to this book. It made me laugh, cry and really think about certain relationships I have had in my life and possibly will have in the future. My husband said the author owed me money because the story was so similar with mine..hahaha..Just imagine all the shoes I could buy if she did!!!
Okay, so I was stuck with this book and there was nothing of real value to it. Maggie, is gorgeous but dumb, and her sister Rose, the opposite. One, Maggie, is unable to handle the adulting of life, and Rose is able to handle it all. Antics, such as eventual disinvestment to where Maggie goes to Princeton- to chill around campus no study but suddenly has enough growth to get act together when further events proceed? It's, so I won't spoil is all just too much. Nothing makes much to the believable and it's all just glad to get the book over with.
This was a pretty boring read. It also annoyed me when the word "squinted" turned up on just about every page.
