Thank you to Wordsmith Publicity and the author for the eARC.

If you ever wondered how the son of Santa finds his own Mrs. Claus, look no further than Elfemies to Lovers.

The enemies-to-lovers trope is pretty mild—the man buys the last of her favorite muffin and that’s all the “hate” there is—but there is a lot of cutesy-ness. Filled with holiday puns, and seriously too many baked goods (check your blood sugar, folks), Elfemies to Lovers is a cute and enjoyable holiday novella. But don’t be fooled, there is still plenty of spice.

I’m definitely in the mood for the holidays now.

Ivy works at a Christmas themed amusement park in Florida. When the young executive, Teddy, asks her out on a date and then asks her to go home with him for Christmas (just go with it), Ivy says yes. Except when she gets to Teddy's winter wonderland home town, she realizes a couple of things: 1. She's actually in the north pole. 2. She is an elf. 3. Teddy is Santa Claus' son.

I have started to love books by Jennifer Chipman. They're not realistic and they're not groundbreaking, but they are like snuggling up with a blanket and drinking tea. This book was no different and I adored the cozy, Christmas vibes. Let's not forget it's spicy af. This book makes you think they are enemies to lovers, which they really aren’t. They’re enemies for like 0.5 seconds and then they’re all about each other. Pick this one up if you're looking for a light, spicy holiday read.

An elf and Santa's son this book screams Christmas magic! I'm so glad I read this one. First of all the amusement park that Ivy works at I would so go there. A Christmas themed amusement park sounds right up my alley. Boy does Ivy learn about her where she came from. That's a shock then learning the truth about Teddy and his family turns her world upside down. I love experiencing Teddy's hometown through Ivy's eyes. How she gets to experience a Christmas she has always dreamed of made my heart so happy. I loved getting to know the people in the town. I loved the author's own spin on the legend of Santa. This book was a joy to read. Watching Teddy and Ivy fall in love was a beautiful journey filled with the magic of the season

You know what? This might be my favourite one! I really liked Spookily Yours but I fell for this sugary sweet Christmas romance Santa, sleigh and reindeer!

Being an avid Hallmark movie watcher this ticked every box I look for in holiday entertainment

A little bit rushed, childish, they aren’t enemies or ‘elfemies’ and he fell in love too early, but it’s not the worst book.
