I loved that this book in the series was dedicated to the life of Senator and Civil Rights Activist John Lewis. It is very clear that these 2 white male creators wanted to pay their respects to him while he was still alive. After reading the first book, I'd love to finish the rest of the series. I believe that March would be perfect to teach kids about the importance of learning about our nation's dark racist history and teach them about how to stand-up against injustice. I'm so happy that these guys were able to get John Lewis to be a part of this before he passed away.kirkspockreads's review against another edition

It's John Lewis's autobiography in the Civil Rights movement. It's history. Maybe that needs a content warning?shortcas's review against another edition
