Clare Pooley does a good job of bringing semi-loveable characters together, having them go through highs and bad, bad lows before wrapping everything up with a happy ending. This one is no different, although her ability to have some really cringeworthy lows is a questionable skill to have.
If you like movies like "Love, Actually," you'll enjoy any of her novels, but I'm good waiting another year or so before I read another one.

While this was a fun read, it didn't engage me the way I hoped. Don't feel the story was fully flushed or with the appropriate detail level. Second book read from this author and I am not hooked. I know her books are well loved, just not by me.
