OBSESSED! Like every book in this series, I could not put it down!
The teasers for this fourth book were crazy and I could not wait to read it. Daire and Gavin are just so perfect together and every moment they share is so special. They fit so well together and decided to be brave together. Some moments are very hot!!
The other princes are hilarious and add dimension to the story!
Can't wait to read the next ones and read everything over and over again

I will always love the grumpy x sunshine trope. This book has it in spades. Gavin is sweet and bright, and Daire is just his scowly growly counterpart. The beginning of this book was very promising, and I enjoyed watching these two dance around one another. I was an absolute sucker for how sweet Gavin was to Daire and how he never gave up on him. I enjoyed seeing Daire slowly open up to Gavin. There is something so special about seeing someone who is so guarded start to realize that someone cares about them and that they're actually worth being cared about.... so lovely!!!
I think this book had some slow moments that lagged a bit and drew me out of the moment lum of the story at times. I also wish that I had seen a bit more relationship development between Daire and Gavin. I would have really loved to see them interact more outside of their sexual relationship... because the moments they did were absolute pure gold (

This story was darker than the others because Daire was really tormented: while West, Donovan and Preston's issues were due to family and social expectations, Daire's were the result of years of emotional neglect and indifference from his parents. Daire's coping mechanism was brutal and I really liked how Gavin pushed him to channell all his anger into something more fullfilling.
There a lot of push and pull between them and Daire really has a thick wall around him; thankfully, Gavin is way more helpless than how he seems and he will be able to penetrate that wall.
Daire is obviously the possessive one, but I did not expect some very romantic and emotional things he said. I loved how his character evolved.
All the Princes' sheaningans and revenge are way too unrealistic as usual, but there was a sense of deep satisfaction this time: we all know how much Joey deserved what hit him.
Two Princes left: from the previous books, we already know Travis has a complicated relationship with Caleb (JT's friend) and in this one we get to know that East has being scolded by the Dean and by a TA, who knows if he'll be his love interest? I cann't wait to see someone finally put him in his place!
