Do you ever feel like you have an evil demon inside you that makes you do bad things? You do. But it's not a demon. It's a snurtch.

What a wonderful book to explore what it means to have negative emotions as a child. Will be reading at my next storytime.

This is a picture book that I read with Trent periodically because it addresses those big emotions that sometimes are hard to control that everyone deals with from time to time.

Kids behaving badly? Blame the snurtch. It's kind of like a bad behavior monster that follows us around like a deranged guardian angel.

Proof! Finally proof that little ones are possessed by chaos entities!
Annnnd some adults too...
This reminds me of the shirt that I should wear constantly saying, "Sorry for what I said when I was hungry!"

An imaginative take on impulse control. Conversely, it could also be a look at imaginary friends or distraction.

I saw the back cover first & totally thought it was the little girl with the unicorn that is so fluffy. The illustrations are cute. I like the premise of the book, but I do not think I understand what a Snurtch is- like is it imagination?
