This book is a must read for people who love the musical Come From Away. I've always been moved by stories about people stepping up to help others in need, and this true story is the perfect example of a community of loving people doing whatever it takes to help out.

I laughed. I cried. This was an amazing story of humanity's best in a time of crisis and despair.

I listened to this on audio. The narrator actually sounds a lot like Tom Hanks but he isn't. The writing style seemed choppy but I didn't feel it took away from the story. The author actually does a good job telling the story. I had not thought what happened to all the plans flying into the states on 9/11 and this story was so informative. The generosity of the residents of Newfoundland were amazing.
