I wish I had read the novel version first.

Compelling story, but it definitely felt abbreviated in graphic novel form. It was easy to miss little details that were illustrated in based on Duffy's artistic style.

Still, an incredible story with an intelligent, resourceful, and relatable protagonist.

This review is for the graphic novel. It was a quick read, and very accessible, but I did feel like a couple elements of the story got lost in translation.
