DUUUUDE. Right up until the last chapter I was still trying to figure everything out. This was so good and written beautifully. Taking a half-star off for the use of Comic Sans in the podcast logo lmao

Trigger Warning: Death of Children, Child Abuse, Death of Animals (Dogs), Sexual Assault
3.5
This was a solid 4 star book all the way through until the end for me. You are reading from 3 point of views; Jessica Paige, who is the mother of one of the boys who is found dead. John Flecter, a detictive who worked on the original case, and the last POV is that of Podcast transcripts that Cody Swift is producing. Cody was the best friend of Charlie and Scott, the two young boys who were murdered.
Each POV is pretty unique and reaveals just enough to keep you going and reading. I would not say any of them are particularly rootable or good people but that is all I am going to say as any more could cross over to spoilers.
I settled on my rating of 3.5 stars because I was ultimately let down by a few answers to some of the mysteries but the last and final twist was strong enough that I brought the rating back to a 3.5 but I will be rounding up. This was my second book from this author and I liked it a bit more than the other so i hope to be on an upward trajectory!
