There's a lot I really liked about this book, namely Delilah herself. She's a great character, and I feel for her so much with what she went through and her general pre-existing feelings of not quite being good enough for one reason or another. 
But the romance here really didn't quite hit it for me. It's really quite toxic, at the end of the day, and not what I've grown to expect from these books. I honestly don't think that this should've had a

happy ending, because Cat didn't deserve it, at least not yet. You'd need another 300 pages of fixing the shit that she did to maybe make me believe that Delilah would take her back.

. That's why it's the lowest rated book in the series so far for me. But I like the lore introductions, and I think that they will lead us somewhere interesting in the next book.
