*Reread 2023*
Just more of the same stuff from the first volume. Although I did find this one dragging a little at some parts. However, it has been nice rereading this series and I hope maybe this time I'll finish.

I read this entire volume in one obsessive sitting, late into the night. This manga is top-tier, 10-out-of-10 storytelling. The suspense has me in a chokehold. The steady transformation of the central protagonist, from idealistic to progressively evil, is delightfully chilling and darkly fascinating. I can't get enough of this story.

I’m really getting into the whole cat-and-mouse thing.
