Just as good as the first. I love the cat and mouse game of L and Light. But honestly, Ryuk is my favorite. He's such a chaotic force.

This series is just too good. The writing, the drawings, the story are all just perfect. I can’t wait to start volume 3.

The section with Light trying to sus out Naomi's real name is some of the best and most tense writing in manga that I have seen.
I love the further development of this story's characters. The reveal of L's fact not only in this manga but on the cover is so fucking sweet.
I remember reading this over and over again when my mom- the saint she is- took me to a Borders when I was maybe 13 and I picked up this volume. We were on vacation in Florida at the time and I read and re-read this volume so many times over that vacation.
The more I think about this volume, the more sentimentality comes through for me. I had originally listed it as a 4.5 stars but, I would be a liar if I said that this was anything except for a 5.

We see more similarities between Light and L as the situation becomes more intense. Light ends up killing non-criminals & L highly suspects Light to be Kira. Personally, I didn't like that Raye Penber was such a mysoginistic prick towards his fiancee who was an ex-FBI just trying to help him.

Za sada znatno bolji od prvog dela, održava pažnju i dobro uvlači u priču
