Quiero tratar de explicar los sentimientos que tuve con este libro pero me es imposible. No puedo esperar a la serie.

I guess I come down on the "this book is damaging as fuck and gets it all wrong" side of the camp.

4.5 stars. This was a moving journey, learning about the story of Hannah Baker. I just NEEDED to know what would happen and finished this book in a day. I got more addicted as I leaned more and more about Hannah's story. The book was well written, showing how Clay changed and was affected tape by tape. His reactions and the audio recordings of Hannah weaved together well, and what I liked was that it was mainly Hannah's story. There didn't have to be much description about what Clay was doing but he was obviously there the whole time. The reader is just invested in Hannah's story.

As Hannah explains everything, you feel the weight of everything she's going through, and I found that this book really made an impression on me.

Never doubt the power of your existence.

An interesting book but very confronting! It gives you a real insight into school life and how much bullying can affect someone into taking their own life. Some graphic bits in this book which make it one for the older teen reader.

Based on the summary of this book, I wouldn't have read it. The prospect of reading about a girl blaming other people for her taking her own life, regardless of the reasons, was not one I looked forward to. But it was a book club book, so I dove in, ready to put it down if it got too intense.

I didn't put it down. I finished it in one sitting, and found it not only addictive, but a book that will stick with me for a while to come. The author took a grisly topic and managed to make his characters human and likable.

I ended up agreeing with Hannah, not with her choice to commit suicide, which is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, but that the people she sent her tapes to deserved to know that their actions have consequences. She acted with more grace than could be expected, and by the end, I was quite attached to her and Clay.

i thought it was an amazing book and at times almost brought me to tears! it was funny (at times), it was sad, and really made you see how everything does have a snowball effect (as said in this book). it is so insightful and words just can't descirbe how i feel about this book. it really got you into the mind of someone suicidal and honestly, its good to no why someone would take such drastic measures. some people i got mad at for doing the things they did and others i felt bad were on the tape but i guess i can really only end with how i feel with this book is bravo!
