Yikes. This was very poorly written, very short sex scene. The plot was ok but character development was stunted.

It's a battle of wills between Grace & Alden - who will win?

Absolutely brilliant. Grace is human & Alden is an orc. He's grumpy & thinks that he's too dangerous for Grace. Grace wants that grumpy orc. Can Grace convince the grumpy Alden that she is his for life?
This is my first time reading this author & I can't wait to see what is written next.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book is batshit, even for a monster-fucker book, this is a lot. The premise is fun, and the characters are pretty interesting, but the writing is weird. Not good weird. Everything about the writing style of this just feels a little bit off. The only specific thing I can point out is that the book is extremely repetitive, almost every element of note in the story is repeated at least once, more often two or three times. The writing is more weird than just repetitive, but I can't pick out whatever other elements are contributing to the weird nature. I enjoyed the concept and the initial 10-15 pages, but not much else.

This book is a hate crime. I do not like.....almost anything about this. The writing wasn't even good! The same wording was used over and over again. The concept of knowing people before essentially marrying them is kinda important to me. But nah she just committed forever. I'm not rocking with male and female language and like the idea that all orcs are men seems weird and like idk the fact that he was more beastly than a regular orc and just SO MUCH WAS CORNY AND CHEESY AND BAD I didn't even really have fun other than pausing to giggle because wtf.
