This book would have been an easy 5 star if I only had to look at the ending and the overall plot. I was full on crying. However, I tend to struggle a bit with Sanderson's writing, with the first Mistborn book being the only exception. This book too was unnecessarily long. I personally do not enjoy the overly detailed fight scenes that last 15 pages, and there are also some scenes that I think are basically identical, so I was a little bored. But I think it was worth it. I was really invested in the story and that's what makes a good fantasy book for me. Definitely recommeded.
