I quite enjoyed this book! I definitely engaged more with the second half of this collection which I read in a second sitting a few days after putting this one down. Parts reminded me of family stories that my Dad has shared with me of their visits to farms when they were young. A beautiful sense of place is found throughout and the writing is delightful!
