Wow. So much going on. There is literally more every time you turn the page! And it ends without really ending - a bit of a cliffhanger. Isabelle is very guarded but her relationships with her bikers develop quickly and pretty naturally. Very steamy. I definitely enjoyed this one!

The story had so much potential it started out well and I had high hopes. The book was just predictable, it would have been better to have a long book. As this is part of a series and it ends on a cliffhanger however I won’t be buying the next book. I just didn’t get enough enjoyment from the book to be fully hooked. The spicy scenes were okay though.

I got this in a "stuff your e-reader day." Our lead, Isabel, is kidnapped. She escapes and then gets kidnapped by other people, all within the first chapter. There are so many underlying stories. She tries to grift a guy, having learned the skill from her con artist father, and he ends up kidnapping her. The kidnapping happens after she broke up with a guy from a big motorcycle clubs (MCs) in the city who was a literal assassin. The guys who kidnap her the second time, are another MC thought to be boogeymen. There's Mac, Cue, Rooster, and Ryder who are actually just big softies, even Mac, the grumpiest of them all. She wheedles her way under their skin and they go on such a wild journey together. There’s a second book, but I don’t think I'm going to read it.
